Shipping Methods

At Nietos & Associates, special orders don’t upset us. We try to make our services as flexible as possible. We understand no two people or businesses are the same. Our customers are a big resource for us. We use the feedback from our customers to fine tune our services and create new ones when we find there is one needed.

We have an extensive array of carriers for our customers to choose from as well as a variety of methods by which to ship your packages.

The cost of shipping items will vary based on not only the size and the weight of the package, but also the carrier and the method you choose. The method chosen usually depends on the speed with which you want to ship your item. If you want the item as quickly as possible, you will typically pay a bit more. However, if you can wait to receive the item, you can save some money by choosing a slower method.

Some shippers and methods available:

  • USPS: Express Mail, Priority Mail, First Class Mail, and Flat Rate
  • FedEx and for large shipments, FedEx Freight


This method is great when speed is of the necessity. Both international and domestic packages can be shipped using this method.

There are package size limits for this selection, so check your package complies before choosing. Customers get tracking and insurance on their shipments as well.


This option is best saved for regular mail and is not recommended for packages. It also does not come with tracking for items.


Priority Mail is similar to Express Mail but it is not recommended for international items. Performance is not very dependable for shipping overseas. Try to use this option for domestic packages only.


When speed is not a factor, this method is very reliable and low cost. Tracking information does not come with this service and you will need to check package restrictions. Stick to domestic packages with this method.


We highly recommend using this option for international shipments. The service is fast, reliable and a great value. If you use this service, be advised that packages will need to be picked up within 5 days or they will be returned to the sender.

FedEx has an added perk. They will notify customers if there are extra Customs charges to expect. Those extras fees can be paid online with a credit card.


If you have a large shipment, this is the most cost effective and dependable way to send it.

If a package requires Customs form to be completed, the responsibility falls to the customer. We cannot complete the forms on your behalf but we can provide you with help if you have any questions.

If you use the shipping service often, you have the ability to choose preferences under your account. This will save you from having to choose a shipper and method for each individual package.
